Gert Glas is the founding attorney of Glas & Glas, bringing a sharp legal mind and a results-driven approach to every case. Admitted to the Aruba Bar, mr. Glas specialises in corporate law, commercial litigation and cross-border transactions. His practice bridges the Dutch civil law tradition with the practical demands of an international Caribbean clientele, offering strategic counsel that protects business interests while navigating Aruba's unique legal framework. With an unwavering commitment to client advocacy, Gert combines rigorous legal analysis with the creative problem-solving that complex matters demand.

Luigitte Hernandez is the firm's office manager, born and raised on Aruba and the steady presence behind the day-to-day running of Glas & Glas. Her years of experience within the legal sector make her exceptionally well suited to supporting the firm's legal services, from file management and correspondence to client intake and the monitoring of deadlines. She speaks Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamento, and receives every client in the language they are most comfortable in. Her local roots and connections keep the lines short - on the island and beyond. Energetic and driven, Luigitte makes sure every matter is picked up promptly and every client feels genuinely looked after.

Jurgen Glas is the firm's dedicated paralegal, providing essential support across all practice areas with precision and professionalism. From legal research and document preparation to client coordination and case management, Jurgen ensures that every matter proceeds efficiently and thoroughly. His meticulous attention to detail and deep understanding of Aruban legal procedures make him an indispensable part of the Glas & Glas team. Jurgen's organisational expertise and client-focused approach help maintain the high service standards that define the firm.

Allya Al-Odaymi will soon be joining our team as applied psychologist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen (minor in Clinical Psychology) and has worked with parents and children at a therapeutic centre for parent and child and in youth mental health care. At Glas & Glas she will support parents and children alongside the legal proceedings: at intake, in drawing up the parenting plan and in preparing for conversations with the judge, the Guardianship Council or a mediator. Her motto: ‘I don’t talk about you, I talk with you.’ Allya speaks Dutch, English and Polish and is learning Papiamento.
